Music,books,films,tattoo's,piercings,60's muscle cars, playing bass, just started again after a couple of years lay off.And a lot of other stuff that i just can't seem to remember.
Some interesting people, beyond that i'm winging it. I would love to meet that one women who will take my breath away, however my faith in that is somewhat slim so realisticly i will settle for someone who doesn't think i look like the Gorgon's ugly brother AND who is NOT mentally unstable. We all have our little quirks, thats great,i just don't need a raving loon in my life right now.Or ever for that matter.
Music is the one constant in my life.I listen to most and appreciate most types of music except reggae and the bland crap you find on most radio stations.Favourites of mine are Neurosis,Godflesh,Nick Cave,Jesu,Type o Negative,Kyuss,Clutch,C.O.C,Isis,Blood Island Raiders,The Gathering,Danzig,The Wildhearts,Life of Agony,Alice in chains,Lisa Loeb, the Crystal Method,Unkle,Johnny Cash,N.I.N,Mogwai,Godspeed!you black emporer,Devin Townsend,Cannibal Ox,Cult of Luna,Mastodon,Electric wizard,Pelican,Fiona Apple,5ive,Fu Manchu,Led Zepelin,Black Sabbath,The doors,Pink Floyd.Basically the list of bands can go on and on.I have a real passion for music that you can lose yourself in,those moments where you just dissapear and ride the wave.
Star wars,Convoy,John Hughes films,Kevin Smith films,The Smokey and the Bandit flims,Cannonball run, john Cusak,80's comidies,Sci-fi,The wizard of Oz,The Princess Bride,The Goonies.Again the list is long and covers a wide selection of genres.
I don't watch much t.v,the few programs i do watch include C.s.i,Top Gear,Saved by the Bell, fastlane, starfleet,Red Dwarf.Other than the first two i generally wait for it to become available on dvd so i can watch it as and when the urge takes me.Most tv programing just makes me want to throw a brick at the set anyway.
Again the range of stuff i read go's from Pratchett and Tom holt through to the classic like The counte of monte cristo and 20,000 leagues under the sea.I do have an all time favourite which is Dune by Frank Herbert,it is still the only book that i still read cover to cover every time.
I do not want,nor do i need a hero.
