I am pretty much addicted...though I have to say, I have been getting better and I don't watch nearly as much. Yeah right. I tape about 10 hours of TV a week, and will soon be getting a DVR. The keyword there is TAPE...I also watch many additional hours of TV. In fact, I could pretty much spend a whole day watching only MTV or VH1...sad, I know...anyways...shows that I watch regularly: Real World, Road Rules, Real World Road Rules Challege, Inferno, Gauntlet, Best Week Ever, Survivor, America's Next Top Model, A Baby Story, A Wedding Story, What not to Wear, 10 Years Younger, Miami Ink, The Simple Life, Laguna Beach, American Idol, Surreal Life (and all other Sunday Celeb Reality on VH1) The Girls Next Door, any E! True Hollywood Story, Mythbusters... AND! That only includes shows with multiple seasons...Yeah...I know...I need to work on my addiction.
I am a book freak and pretty much can't wait for school to end so that I can do MY OWN free reading stuff....Books on my waiting list include: The Bell Jar, Fight Club, Captivating, The Turn of the Screw, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Celestial Prophesies (not a Christian book), Lord of the Flies, Memoires of a Geisha, The Virgin's Lover (Ok...not as dirty as it sounds...it's about queen elizabeth...raunchy...but not dirty) and the other books in that series...there are more too...but I can't remember them all...Books recently completed: Ana Karenina (possibly my greatest reading accomplishment) Jekyll and Hyde Passing Memoires and Confessions of a Justified Sinner Picture of Dorian Gray
Well, even though she doesn't know this, and I'm not sure if the word hero really fits, my role model is Laura Dekas. She is just an incredible woman and I hope I'm just like her when I get older...she's a full-time mom/grandma/housewife, her kids are/were well behaved, she is happily married, she cooks really well and does crafts all the time, she always helps people, and she is completely in love with God...so yes...that is everything I want.
