It's My TIME

About Me

Tic metabotically means... IT'S MY TIME! Since the age of twelve, this Chi-town tongue twisting diva has developed her gift in to a profession. With all the negative connotation associated with rap, Tic enlightens us to a lighter side of hip hop. She challenges the term "tripple threat" and magnifies the definition to fit her exceptional talents. Her looks knocks down the barriers of stereotypes, contradicting the traditional rapper, adding to the punch her remainning threats of choreagraphy, acting, modeling, and song writing. She's choreographed routines for Lil' John's Oobie, Cha Cha slide legend "Casper", and the international Petra Luna Show, plus she stole the show with an opening number for Twista in Gary Indiana. She's helped transform Chicago style "house" dancing from street to a more acceptable mainstream style known elsewhere as crunk and clown dancing. Shes ghostwritten for various hip hop and R&B artsit and modeled in fashion shows, countless photo shoots, and several print work for magazines. You can find Tic in Blockbuster hits "When Thugz Cry", "For Steppaz Only", and a leading role as an assassin in Fat Bottom Film's "Overkill". Tic's done an outstanding number, representing african American Hip Hop in an all American culture based Panasonic commercial. She was a semi-finalist contestant for Missy Elliotte's, "Road To Stardom" and TLC's, "R U The Girl" reality show. She's been embraced by fans from countless cites for her unbelievable high impact shows and has hit the airwaves from Chicago to New York. Tic is wearing yet another hat of production and engineering, excepting the challenge imposed on her by her late producer, Lee Richardson. Lee, brother of NY Knicks Q Richardson, was robbed and fatally shot 3 days after their last recording session. He recorded Tic since she was twelve and ironically left her with the proposition of becoming the face of his production co. Catalyst 01, along with the studio equipment to get started. He motivates her to succeed and today Tic resides in North Hollywood still chasing her dream. Stepping out on faith has led her to conquer many things. She is scheduled to release her album "Shecago" along with the debut of the movie "Overkill" in 2006. "If it was easy, everyone would do it" is one of many quotes Tic recites and soon you'll understand her power in practicing what she preach!
