New EP Promo: Only thing that ever mattered was the rock’n’roll.
Only thing that ever mattered to Columbia was gettin’ you on your feet to dance.
We’ve captured the excitement of our live shows in the studio with our new self-titled EP. See, we do rock’n’roll like it was our last pack of smokes.
Columbia has evolved from our unabashed love of Brit Rock, Rhythm & Blues and Psychedelic. We find a groove with the rhythm section, sing lyrics to sing along too and play guitar riffs to shake your ass too - with more swagger than Cool Hand Luke, with more rock’n’roll than a box of juke.
We sound like we do what we say, and we say what we mean. When we say ‘It’s easy to forget to believe’, we mean it.
These songs are about livin’. They’re about what everybody hopes for and dreams of, and how everybody deals with all the crap in their lives. We all got something to be sad about and we all got something to sing for and it’s best if we all just sing along together.
Recorded with Smokey’ Jenkins (The Stems, Kill Devil Hills) – and mixed by Andy Lawson (Eskimo Joe, End of Fashion) down at the famed Debaser Studios - these songs show why we’ve been picking up radio support from around the country inc. Triple J, 96fm, RTR, FBi, RRR, amongst others.
WELCOME TO COLUMBIA AND OUR NEW EP!

Songs from both and the new self titled EP which they have just put out (April 2009), have featured on radio around the country inc JJJ, 96fm & FBi, they have played with many of Perth's biggest bands and supported the likes of The Casanovas from over east. The song 'New York' was also the lead off track on the 'Riot On Sunset' compilation released by L.A label 272 records,
