The Street Skollaz originated in Carlisle, PA, when childhood friends Match and Jimmy Mac formed a hip hop tandem in the eighth grade. While primitive at first, the group evolved through numerous battles, beefs and albums. A brief hiatus ensued when Match eventually moved to the Bronx. It was here that he linked up with producer/ rapper B-Ry, hailing from San Diego. This was the final piece of the puzzle by adding a third dimension to an already undeniable sound. Combining the raw approach of old, with the more refined hit making sensibilities of B-Ry, a musical dream team had been assembled. Boasting one of the most versatile lineups in the game, the Street Skollaz seamlessly move from prototypical club tracks to more philosophically dense material. With over 5 albums and mixtapes already to thier credit as well as numerous collaborations with producers Agent Smith and THX ,the Skollaz know how to put in work. Having extensive touring expierience and acclaim in their respective hometowns, the focus has been shifted to a larger scale. The Bronx is where the takeover has begun, launching an onslaught of show stooping performances at The Candy Lounge, The Lantern, Howl at the Moon, Fordham University's Commuter Week and the Fashion for Philanthropy show sponsored by Sean John to name a few. With a devastating momentum already behind them, it would seem that the question is not if, but when the Street Skollaz will unleash their unrelenting brand of fury on the masses.
