Born and raised in south Minneapolis, DJ Jcue has been making a name for himself since 2001, having been featured at such Twin Cities hot spots as Fahrenheit, Karma, Spiral Bar, Visage nightclub, Epic and Axis. While other local venues include Whispers, and Sinners Gentlemen's Club, Jcue has also been featured as far north as Playmakers Pavilion and Broken Axe in Fargo, North Dakota and as far south as Club Eden in Atlanta Georgia.Although he comes from musical background, Jcue began to DJ only as a hobby. It had looked as though sports and athletics would lead him in different direction, playing football through high school as well as for North Dakota State University in Fargo. While in college, Jcue invested in first set of turntables and fine tuned his skills working college parties. After returning home to Minneapolis in 2005, he dedicated himself to developing a style that was all his own.Building a career as a universal DJ, Jcue is the creator of the 10,000 Tapes mixtape series and is now the new voice of 89.9 KMOJ evening broadcast (Tight At Night) weeknights from 7-10pm.
