Welcome filmlovers, friends and foes!
My name is Carsten Kurpanek. I was born in Wrzburg, Germany and I live now in Mainz (near Frankfurt) were I study film studies at the Johannes Gutenberg-University. I spend the last year in the USA on a year abroad in Muncie, IN, where I studied Telecommunication at Ball State University. I am planning to graduate in July 2007 in Germany. After that I will move to Los Angeles with the love of my life and try to become a professional film editor.

Left and Leaving (July 2006)
"Left and Leaving" is a story about the pain of saying goodbye. Someone has to choose who's left and who's leaving. Here, it is Lena who has decided to leave her boyfriend behind to go to Africa for a year or longer. But Lena hasn't told David about her decision yet. The night before she leaves, she finally has to face up to her responsibility and to David. The conflict is inevitable.
