Balla Scott was born a resident of Harlem where he lived with his Grandparents for a number of years. He later joined his mother and three siblings in Sound View, one of the toughest projects in the city. Like every other kid in the Bronx, growing up on hip-hop was normal; knowing how to flow was easy as breathing. His focus was on everthing but music because he played football ,basketball and the streets and everything in it. That may describe his witty,gritty,hardcore metaphors and killer beats. After rhyming on a hour and twenty minute freestyle mixtape with brother Moe and longtime friend Kid Capri, he was interested in pursuing a career.
