Handmedowns

Handmedowns is a rock and roll band from the midwest, much like every other band in the world. But, what sets HMD apart from the others? you may ask. Well, that's for you to decide. In April 2005, 700+ people sat, dazed and confused, in the gymnasium of Carver Middle School to witness three upandcoming young gentleman named Jordan Easter, Ben Latimer, and Ezra Foster begin what no one at the time would have thought would become the best rock band in the history of the world.

Since that day Handmedowns has gone through many lineups. But, in March of 2006 someone would be introduced to the band. Someone, who some speculate, is kept alive only by the insane beats and punk rock drumming he creates. His name, my friends, is Will Hopkins. After solitifying the new lineup, the three have played many shows together and have recently been given the opportunity to record a 5 song cd with Kevin Gates and plan to record a full length album in the not too distant future. With the release of their debut EP entitled "Mislead, Misread", HMD is armed and prepared to go wherever the wind may blow. From humble beginnings, we will all watch and see where this crazy trio we like to call Handmedowns will go. Hold on my friends, we're in for a long and disturbing ride.
