About Me

I'm Matt, and I am a fucking weirdo who doesn't sleep properly!

I don't do bands or musicians or Americans or poeple trying to have as many friends as possible to boost your ego! if you are any of the above don't bother requesting my friendship because i ain't gonna accept!

I live in Skegness now, I've gone from MK to the fenlands to Birmingham and now to the seaside, it would be okay if it wasn't full of tourists and rain. I work with my parents and live in my own flat next to someone who likes punk music, which is a shame because i don't. I reccon you know the rest about me so i'll stop there.

I like Cars, classic cars, dirty cars and weird ones too. Also like motorbikes, I really want one, but I really want Keira Knightly too and thats never going to happen!

Music, I play it, really loudly. Mahler and Schuman all the way up to Muse and System. Most painfull thing this year was not being able to go see The Who because I had to work!
I am a bookmaker, it's not what you might think. I live in Birmingham where I came to, and quit uni. I live with an Irish guy who broke my leg, a Nurse and a Midwife. It rocks in this house! Most of my spare time is spent trying to poison my body, I'm still here, which means I am failing! Other than that I drink petrol and breath exhaust fumes, I'm still so in love with cars.

The benefit of living in Brum is the huge number of great pubs, (Scruffys, Costas, the old joint stock, the bright house) also get to see some great gigs at the acadamy!! Band of the moment is either Clutch or EELS! !

My Interests

Cars, rallying and racing. Top Gear and Petrolheads etc. Motorbikes too. And films that are related to them.

Music: the classical stuff like Mahler, Bruckner, Grieg, etc etc. And that stuff we call Rock 'n' Roll.

I'd like to meet:

Ewan Mcgregor, Michael Cain, Pink Floyd. My biological father, I'm not entirely sure that my dad is mine...there is a little something that makes me unsure of it all! I don't really long to meet that many famous people, they are much smaller in real life anyway.

You Are 22 Years Old
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax. What Age Do You Act?

Music:

Let me put it to you like this, at the age of 8 I was the kid who played a geeky classical instrument and listened to Rock n Roll. If you don't like Pink Floyd you probably won't ever be my best friend! I really like Rock n Roll and Romantic classical music, Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin and Jimmi Hendrix are my favourites, closely followed by S.O.A.D, rage, the stranglers, the who, the killers, kasabian, manic street preachers, Skunk Anansie, soundgarden, AC/DC, black sabbath, the beatles, blondie, eric clapton, eagles, eels, foo fighters, rammstein, radiohead, you know the sort. But I also really love Mahler, Bruckner, Wagner and Rachmaninov, it is much better than you think and i love driving whilst air-conducting to Mahler 5, scares the shit out of drivers coming the other way!

Movies:

one flew over the cukoo's nest, the italian job, donnie darko, the godfather, back to the future, star wars, trainspotting, dead mans shoes, Guy Richie films, Black Hawk Down, Mulan Ruouge.

Television:

Top Gear, Petrolheads. Neighbours (sky is so hot!) Don't watch that much TV really

Books:

I really like reading Ian Rankin books. I should like Terry Pratchet but I just can't get into him. Autobiographys are good. Got some star wars books too, but I am not that geeky or bored yet!

Heroes:

Superman, a pair of glasses and the entire world is fooled into believing that he is somebody else. Steve Mcqueen and Charls Kennedy!

My Blog

life's a piece of shit

Complete lack of direction and motivation. Only wanting one thing, which I can't afford for a very long time. And a huge decision to make that I don't know is going to make me happy whichever I choose...

Something exciting.

Today something exciting almost happened, between the evil slaughter of slugs on my patio (drownd in zippo fuel and then burnt to a cinder) and the scratching of my balls whilst watching daytime TV I ...
