It is with great sadness that I deliver some very tragic news to you all. I regret to inform you that my Mowgli passed away on Wednesday, October 26th. My Mother called me to break the news and she and I are devastated. Mowgli was one of a kind, when my father was dying of cancer, Mowgli did not leave his side. He was the very definition of what loyalty, respect, love & honor symbolize in life. After my Dad died, he spent most of his time looking for him, up until the day that Mowgli died, he would visit the room they used to share each morning looking for him. Sadly, but with pride I can say that Mowgli finally found my Dad again. He is no doubt resting peacefully along side him as I write this. I miss my Mowgli.
Mowgli Kita
August 1st 1994-October 26th 2006.
I did a little memorial video for Mowgli below, check it out if you like. He was the most dedicated creature I have ever encountered, moreso then 99% of people that I have ever met.
I also want to extend this offer, after my friend Vanessa's cat Bam went missing...(He has since been found, thank god.) I thought there should be some places that people can post pictures of missing animals based on the area in which they live.
I am working on a few things to bring this to fruition, that way any lost or missing animal can be posted on a number of MySpace pages and through the network everybody from adjoining areas that are in close proximity to the missing animal can repost the picture and description provided by the owner. That way we can use MySpace to help one another find our pets if they go missing.
Anybody who is currently looking for a missing pet can post here at anytime. I encourage anybody viewing this page to repost the picture on their page along with their friends pages and potentially post a bulletin about it to friends in the immediate area.
I think Mowgli would be happy if his memory was used to help loving owners find their missing animals. I believe he would think that would be pretty fucking cool.
Thanks!

Here's a little about Mowgli in his own words. "Hi, My name is Mowgli. Some people call me Simba as well. I am Jon's cat, and he treats me like a best friend should be treated. I was his Dad's best friend and I spent every waking moment by his side from the day he was diagnosed with cancer, until the day he died from it. I never left his side. I am a Maine Coon & Silver Tabby pure-bred. I'm a humble cat. "We are Cats, here us roar, because there is one line that should not be crossed, and that is The Fe-Line."
