1) "Finale"
I made a short film called "Away," about a ghost boy and his little sister. The soundtrack was recorded in my bedroom (except for the piano, which was recorded in the Lupinacci's parlor). I don't want to give away the ending of the movie, but this is it. Anyway, that's Justin on guitars, Casey on drums, Sean on trumpet, Jackie on violins and Bianca on viola. We are the Ephemeral Orchestra.
2) "You Still Have the Rain" by Allison Francis
Allison Francis is a wonderful singer/songwriter from Portland, Oregon. She typically spawns subtly amazing minimalist Garageband demos. I was going to go to take my brother to Six Flags today, but he came down with a fever so alternatively I opted to see what an Allison Francis song would sound like with more instruments. I highly recommend checking out her myspace page; aside from having good homespun music, she is a very friendly person if you need a new myspace friend.
3) "I Don't Know. What Do YOU Want To Do Today?" by the Incredible Machine
A friend whom I have known since elementary school made a band that is apparently signed and on the verge of success called The Incredible Machine. This is a song of theirs that I enjoy, so I covered it using the Omnichord and acoustic guitar. Dan contributed "organic keys" and James did some light brush drumming. I think our version is very relaxing.
4) "In One Room" by Foot Foot
Foot Foot is a local band that plays lovely and eccentric songs with guitars, banjos, melodicas, odds & ends, etc. Their music is really something and I hope you enjoy my rendition of this Foot Foot song.
