I'VE BEEN PLAYING MUSIC FOR 4,5 YEARS NOW. I love what I am doing and can't live without it. I am spinning italo and late 70s electro disco together with contemporary disco,chicago house and techno.On the other hand really like playing techno and deep house.During my set I normally sing or talk about the Astronomy:)))or declairing how much I love you. I sing in a group called Myspacerocket(may be we change the title very soon) I listen to the Cybernatic broadcasting system and consider it to be one of the best radio stations ever. As a dj she is totally in love with...nice music:) Her style could be described as a good combination of original US and italodisco tunes, deep Detroit techno diluted with Chicago and that «moodyman» type of house, that always makes your heart beating faster. She’s collecting original disco and Chicago house vynils, though her record collection consisting far more genres: from funk 7 inches to 80-s electro and Grace Jones songs. You can often see her searching for dusty covers on fleemarkets somewhere in Berlin or elsewhere in the world but you can never predict what will be next tune in her set: Dance Mania house triller, contemporary techno or that amazing semidisco&semielectro bootleg on white label. But you can be assure that there always be that «difficult to mix» bridge between past and future. When Kraviz is in a right mood you can hear her performing with a mic. Her first vocal experience was supposed to be on Golden Boy’s new album. In 2006 Nina as a vocalist has joined 4 members neodisco group called MySpace Rocket. Newcomer-band became a sort of success in Russia for their poppy disco song «Stay Apart». Apart Myspacerocket Nina, Stas ?ross and Miguel created side project NMS in order to concentrate more on deep side of techno and house music. In 2006 Nina Kraviz performed at RBMA Lounge at Sonar Festival and the same year became a participant of RedbullMusicAcademy wich took it’s place in Melbourne. She consider it to be very special to be there as she had a chance to listen to so different kind of music. Apart from all interesting people that she met It was especially nice and funny to meet there legendary Mizell brothers (authors of Donald Byrd’s «Wind parade»). Just prior her trip to Australia she did a cover version on their famous song and put it in her mixed cd «Hi-Brow Dance». The same fun was to sing together with Chez Damier from Chicago who's sweet talks appears on Ron Trent's as well as on his own projects like «Che» wich became an important chicago classic tune.
