….Foolish Earthlings has arisen.
This mutant offspring of London’s Gospel, Hard Rock, Jazz and Funk scenes is on a mission to defy categorisations, blow minds and shake rumps the world over. If funk is the common language, Foolish Earthlings is the dirty word.
Formed in late 2006, the band is steadily building a fearsome reputation as one of London's most exciting live bands, through raw, frenetic performances at places like The Jazz Café, Bush Hall, Ginglik, The Water Rats, Hootananny and The Rock Garden, and a residency at that Winehouse/Doherty favourite, Soho's Jazz After Dark.
The band's audience systematically dismantles cultural walls wherever they play, with fans spontaneously break-dancing in rock pubs, head-banging at jazz clubs, and with everyone from jam band proggers to electro-house clubbers to clean-living God-fearing folk getting down to the same killer grooves, all the while representing every nation on Earth.
The band is preparing to head in the studio to lay down their hotly anticipated debut album, which they'll be co-producing with Rolling Stones and Prince alum, Barry Sage, and which is scheduled for self-release on their own label later this year.
You have been put on notice. Take heed, Foolish Earthlings...
