Formally known as Infamous on the local rap scene, Droopy M. is one of the most colorful artist out there to this day. Coming from all over Corpus Christi this young talent has his mind set at one place, the North-west region of the city known as Annaville. "The main reason I rep A-vill is because that is where I built up my talent. I was in this group called a.V.c and what we would do is kick back and throw freestyles on a karaoke, I was just the one who fell in love with it. That got the attention of this other group called Cease-one militia that was actually making songs in the studio and i was asked to go record some songs with them. Ever since then it's been on." Coming from the very bottom of the underground scene Droopy M. has successfully fought his way to the top and plans on going even farther than just being in Corpus Christi with an impressive track record that follows. Since his return from Hollywood, California, Droop (as he likes to be called) has been just going crazy in his little city making a name for himself as "the under-dog rapper." "Alot of people around here are kinda scared of the fact that I'm myself on the mic and in person when they see me. I don't try and fake who i am an try to put on a show for people what you see is what you get." With more than 5 original albums under his belt with numerous mix-tapes and features the so called "Billy the Kid of the Game" has it set in his mind that he's still not satisfied with the progress he's made in his career. "I want more. Plain and simple." Currently under the label known as Bomb-Shell Recordz, Droopy M. has expressed himself to be a very powerful featured artist as well as a strong hitting solo artist, in a resent discussion with the young man the question came into play "What separates you from all the other local artist?" He had one statement " Because I love doing music, i breath this shit, this is the thing that keeps me going." He also got to answer the question on everyone's mind "What happened with your involvement with your formal label Hellbound Productions?" He stays quiet as he takes a puff of the weed he loves so much then says "Not a damn thing me and Gabe were both going threw some shit at the time we both just needed a break, even though I'm over here with Bomb-Shell I still consider myself as a Hellbound Representa." Once we thought we were finished another question hapened to get raised "How does it feel being a Latino in the game?" "Well, to me it crazy for the simple fact that once people see me they expect sum chicano rap to spew out but on the real, I don't even know Spanish," he chuckles as he proceeds "To me I see it as money for the fact that everyone expects for Latinos to be doing that regaeton bullshit, you see I'm like the future of what a Mexican is going to be." We can be expecting a lot more from this young talent as he keeps going up in the ranks as one of the most creative in the local rap scene.{}
