Robot Teen America was a side project that came about from David Reilly , 1/2 of the band
God Lives Underwater . "Living In Syn" was his first side project away from GLU back around 2000 (2001?). The album has a limited amount of original (home computer made) copies in existence, while the rest of the tracks were spread about via the internet through filesharing.
After this was released, God Lives Underwater went back into the studio to finish their final album, Up Off The Floor, which due to 1500 records going bankrupt , never came out officially until 2004 on Megaforce Records /Locomotive Music, with a major printing flaw that made its sound, at a lower quality than one would expect, with the exception of the bootlegged MP3s of Up Off The Floor (username:

After the demise of 1500 records, David's drug problem, and the death of his fiancee "Seven", [Read DAVID'S Letter TO THE PUBLIC about this here.] God Lives Underwater ceased to be any longer, and David attempted another shot at a side projet with Fluzee a few years later. The band release one EP, called Seven, after david's late fiancee, but after that release, that also fell apart.
In 2004, came about David's third attempt at a side project, with numerous demos released on the internet, and then finally an official release of his solo material. The INSIDE EP , an more indie-rock themed project, was released in July of that year on Corporate Punishment Records. During 2005 David feverishly pursued formalizing a few of the songs that appeared on that EP as well as some other songs he had written, and his engineer (Walter Bass) gave the cd to a friend of his named Chris. Chris happened to be part of RuffNation Records , and signed David to the label, with a contract of 4 albums, and use of the studio that the label owned.
In October 2005, as written in David's Blog , David explained to his fans that he was pretty much completed with the album,
"How Humans Rx" and just finishing up the mixing and such. The first week of that month, he had released (along with Armada sound system.com Podcasts) what proved to be his first and ONLY audio interview about his musical career and his life up to that point. On October 17, 2005, David Reilly passed away due to complication of a tooth infection that he had. He was 34 years old.
Currently, his manager and label are planning on releasing the album in 2006 still, and Dave's friend, Brian is writing a memoir about Dave's life. David was a talented musician, and despite the problems that tried to overtake his life, he definetly was a fighter. David, you will be missed.
