Valley Arts Guitars

I am here for Friends

About Me

Guitarist for 25 plus years, my love for pre-Samick, pre-Gibson Valley Arts Guitars (the first guitar boutique shop in the mid 80's - 1993) started at an early age growing in Long Beach, Ca. (visited the VA shop quite often but could never afford one). Jennifer, my wife, and family bought me my first VA (Blue M Series - see photos) for graduating first in my class from college and the obsession began. Now, I have been collecting VA's for over a decade and currently own 20 VA's including a 2 Steve Lukather Custom Pro's, three extremely rare California Pro's (only 100 made), and the VA Interlocking Neck Prototype designed by the late Steve Boulanger, later became head of Fender Custom Shop Engineering and Tooling after leaving Valley Arts. The Interlocking neck was made famous by Larry Carlton in the late 80's.

I've currently designed and maintain the valleyartsguitars.com website with previous VA General Manager, Martin Miranda. I also run the Yahoo VA group. If you'd like to see some great guitars, and maybe find one for sale, please swing over to valleyartsguitars.com. If you currently own a pre-Samick, pre-Gibson Valley Arts Guitar, stop by and register it! Thanks and enjoy! Bob

My Interests

I'd like to meet:
