About Me

Describing me... hmmm, where to begin? I'd say I'm a down to earth guy, open-minded, though I was raised in a pretty conservative environment. I truly enjoy spending time with people I care about--talking on the phone, going out for coffee, shopping, catching a movie, taking a day-trip--whatever!

Career-wise, I guess I have tried a number of different things. My degree is in Multimedia - Graphic Arts & Animation, but I worked in banking while I put myself through college, and I've worked into a Project Management position which I am enjoying more than I ever thought I would. So in addition to working a second job in retail, I do freelance graphic art and design, which I really enjoy.

I think balance and variety in life are important. It seems like I'll focus on one thing for awhile, and then realize, oops, better start putting some focus on this thing over here. Right now, I rent rather than own, and am still at times undecided what I want for the future. There are many, many things that I love about living in Denver, but I miss family on the east coast, and have enjoyed trips to the west coast which has been a real change of pace. I like city-life, though Denver is not a very big city (as I've discovered more over time). I've found that for the most part, wherever you go, people are pretty much the same; so I've adapted to living in places as diverse as New England, the Mountain States, and Florida.

Family is important to me. Doing my best at whatever I'm doing is also important... I guess I'm a perfectionist. I love to learn and I love to teach. I like to read and I often feel like there is never enough time to read everything I'd like to read. I've always been very interested in the entertainment world, enjoy movies & theatre, though I don't pay much attention to sports. I was fairly good at basketball and volleyball in school, but I have no idea what my skill would be like now! I found out recently that my bowling skills can be really hit or miss--go figure.

I really like checking out new places--restaurants, cities, whatever. I appreciate the variety in life, but sometimes I find myself too busy to enjoy it. So I try to step back and "live in the moment," so to speak. It really makes a difference to stop and appreciate what I've got! I love to read, am passionate about music, and believe that many of the best things in life are the simplest ones--such as a smile, a listening ear, words of wisdom, going to a movie, meeting a friend for coffee, or learning something new. I hope that I continue to learn from things both good and bad, and offer something positive to the world.

Since moving to Denver from New England, I've met many wonderful people; pursued schooling and a career in graphic arts; studied acting; enjoyed traveling; and worked in many ways to grow as a person. I try to treat others as I would like to be treated, and I value friendship, honesty, and enthusiasm.

I would say that arriving at where I am today, keeping endurance, faith in general, and having many wonderful people in my life are all accomplishments. It seems like none of us is free from being sent some curve balls in life, and while I suppose I can be overly analytical at times, I always try to keep balanced in life. I try to be very respectful and understanding; I truly believe in learning from mistakes--no regrets!Your results:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'm open to new friendships and/or a relationship with someone who has similar interests & values. Would still like to meet that special guy where things just "click" and we can hang out doing anything or just nothing at all--young at heart, honest and caring, attractive, knows how to have fun, and keeps a sense of humour.

There are lots of people that I sort of emulate and would love to meet; some are: Hillary Clinton, Madonna, J T, Lynda Carter, Jude Law, and Ryan Phillippe. Someone that I have met (which was thrilling) was Neil Gaiman, author.

Then there are an eclectic group of people who have passed away that I would have loved to have met: James Dean, Christopher Reeve, Walt Disney, J F K, William Moulton Marston, Susan B Anthony, Marilyn Monroe.
