Well hello there my name is Laura Velasco, but most people know me as Lori Velasco. I have been Lori for as long as I can remember but for some reason lately I've been introducing myself as Laura (at work mostly), sometimes it's just easer that way. I was named after my Dad's youngest sister who I unfortunately never had the chance to meet(I heart you Tia Lori R.I.P. XOXOXO). I am the youngest of four children 3 girls and 1 boy. Everyone says that the youngest get spoiled the most. Which I'm sure in most cases in true, I think, but I guess I'd have to say that my case isn't like most. I am defiantly loved by my whole family but I don't think I am spoiled by any means. I have 2 nephews, who are both a huge blessing to our whole family. I live in the same house that I/my whole family grew up in, but who knows how much longer that's gonna last?? I live with one of my sisters, Mom and Dad. My other sister Michelle her husband and one nephew of mine live about 20 min away and my brother Carlos lives in San Diego with his wife and new baby, I heart you guys too!!! Most of my siblings have had the wonderful experience of livin the life of a San Diegan. My sister Isela went to school down there. During her last year of school I decided to change my life up a little so I quit my job packed my things and 1 month later there I was. I lived there for almost 4 years and those were the best years of my life. I met so many awesome people that will continue to be a part of my life even if I'm not there anymore(Tina Josh Jonah(new baby that isn't born yet!!) Jennifer Lance Nelly(and Rancho too I guess XOXO) Jaclyn Alex Michelle(new baby that isn't born yet!!) Carlee Chris Nikita and anyone else I forgot I love you and miss you guys). My life pretty much consisted of work(gotta pay bills some how) the beach, beer, partying, the beach, vodka, friends, wine, the beach, the bars, good times, oh and don't forget "THE" 8 "THE" 163 and "The" 805. Can't argue with that shit. I think I also did some of the most stupidest things in my life there, but oh well I don't regret any of it I'm still alive and life goes on right. So now I'm back here trying to slowly phase myself out of the party scene and I'm back to my good ol BFF's(Lauren Angela Sonia Mathile Michelle and Seester)also people I can't life without. I love sleeping but everyone says I can sleep when I'm dead but it's just not the same. I heart TV, playing pool or playing anything for that matter, my room, hiking up Mt. Diablo, Happy Roll, my bed, Todo Santos Park, talking on the phone, drinking wine with the girls or by myself, hangin out with the fam, being warm in the winter and cold in the summer, boys, chap stick and lip gloss, bowling, staying up till the crazy hours of the night just talkin, watching boys play soft ball, writing in and reading my journals...
