"I don't want to be anything other than what I've been trying to be lately"

About Me

Well, here is the little box where I am supposed to ramble on and on about what makes me...well me. But come on...can you REALLY justify yourself in a little box. Hmm...I am not sure. But I will try.... So, what is there to say about me...well...tons I guess. I am a Serial Monogomist....I am just me, I am happy, sad, angry, depressed, giddy, lazy, energetic, spunky, sensitive, artistic, skeptical, forgiving, and the list goes on and on. But one thing I DO know...is I am honest, with myself and others...I don't hold back in life(well..I try not to)...and live it like it is the end. I know that I may not always make the right decisions or be happy with the choices that I have made. But I still am proud in the fact that I am living,..but I have had a lot of really serious things happen to me in my life, and it has definilty taught me to appreciate it, and the things that may or may not happen. If you want to know about me...JUST ASK. I would be more than happy to give you an honest answer. Do not try to figure me out....you never will.

My Interests

--The neverending story of my life....--

I'd like to meet:

Ok...are we talking about who I want to meet for a mate...or if I could meet anyone in the world...who would I meet? Hmm...well, I would have loved to have met Princess Diana. I know I know. Out of all the interesting people in the world..I pick her. She was just a wonderful women who did great things. The Cinderella story..but with an unfortunate end. It would have and been really cool to delve into her mind. There are a lot of famous people I want to meet...I mean..who doesn't want to meet ELMO!!!....well no..not really. I have been very fortunate in my life to meet many wonderful people, and am very grateful for that. So I can't complain. And the one person I would love to meet is...myself. Ya know how they always say that you have a twin somewhere out in the world. That person who looks JUST like you. Now he may not have the same pesonality as me..but still..to stand there and stare at your carbon copy, without looking in a mirror..would be surreal.Now...lets see...as far as who I want to meet in life when it comes to my signifigent other. Well, you have to be pyhsically attracted to the person. I am a sucker for the blonde surfer type. But you can't base a relationship on hair color. And besides...the "type" that I have fused into my head...never seems to be the person I end up dating, so I guess it doesn't matter. But I love a great smile, and someone who takes care of there body. But there is so much more to that. Like sense of humor, energy, trust, and all that good stuff. I want all the new stuff that comes with a relationship. The nerves, the butterflys, the smile that makes your face hurt. The akward moments. I want to have our first kiss - and then break the silence afterwards with the pledge of alligance! ((MAJOR points if you know what movie that is from)) I want someone who will curl up on the couch and fall asleep with me, but also wants to go out and be totally crazy and silly. He just has to get me((which is asking a lot. If you can do that. You rock!))...and understand me. If he doesn't right away...I get that..but then he has to be willing to learn. I want a guy with substance. I don't want fluff. I don't want to date a walking talking marshmellow peep. ((yes..another shameless movie quote)) But most of all, he has to be willing not to give up on me. He has to be devoted to me and want it as badly as I do. I have a lot to offer...so who wants to take a chance. So!! don't be afraid to say hey!! If you want to know more....feel free to ask. Seriously guys, if you think I am out of your league or wouldn't talk to you, send a message anyways. You might be suprised. But please, spare me the Email that consists of "Hey" I will delete it. I want more then that. Peek my interest, tell me about yourself. You know the drill.
I adopted a pet llama!! What the hell!!! He is my friend! PET him..he won't bite!!

adopt your own virtual pet!

Music:

I listen to all kinds of music. I am a HUGE dork when it comes to music. I was a musical theatre major..so we have to start with that. I have like every showtune that was ever put on CD. "I will spend my life collecting out of print orignal cast recordings" ((bonus points if you know what that is from))..and there just may be a splash of Disney music in there too. lol But hey..what can ya do... HAKUNA MATATA!! lol But I am really into that teen angst garage band style music. Gavin DeGraw, Panic! at the Disco, Yellowcard, Rooney, The Redwalls, All American Regects, Simple Plan, Howie Day, Ryan Cabrera, Jason Mraz, Switchfoot. But I also get into you typical Pop/R&B stuff too. Destinys Child, Tyler Hilton, Christina Aguilara, Cobbie Caillat, Elliot Yamin, and all that sh*t. And you musn't of course the wonderful Kelly Clarkson! How gay..but I love her! Lets see, what else. Micheal Buble, Josh Groban, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra. But hey, music is music..if it makes you beat your foot...then I can dig it. I don't down anyone on their music...so don't do it to me. :)

Movies:

Oh lord. I have tons..and for so many different reasons. It is funny how movies become such an important part of our lives. We see something in a movie that we hold near and dear to us..and suddenly it becomes a part of our life. But...my all time favorite movie is "Clue"...with Tim Curry..if you don't like it..well then boo on you! If you haven't seen it..you should! It is funny and has an all star cast! I used to watch it as a kid all the time! Any movie that came out in the 80's is A-OK by me. LOL Breakfast Club, Neverending Story, Flashdance, Maniquinn, Wierd Science(Love it) - all of those movies are so cheesy, you can't help but like them. Lets see, others include. Gosford Park, Cruel Intentions, Camp(If you are a theatre person..you will understand why. lol), Connie & Carla("Her names..Mary?"), Latter Days, Queen of the Damned, and any of the Cirque du Soleil movies. And I love really stupid funny movies..like Team America! Yes! lol But..I don't do anything with Adam Sandler in it. So if you want to take me out on a date...to a movie he is in..don't even bother. I am also always up for some good artsy films. It is good to expand your mind.

Television:

I like TV...period. I get so tired of the people that give that whole line of bullshit about "I don't watch TV...I am just so busy and I don't have time"..blah blah blah. I have like Now...do I watch TV all the time. No. But I still like watching it. So lets see, I love the Simpsons,Family Guy, and Futurama. Gotta love mindless television in cartoon form. I am a closetedOne Tree Hill fan. Well, not anymore seeing as how I just told everyone on myspace.(Chad Micheal Murray is yummy)I dig lot of shows. Extreme Home Makeover(it always makes me cry. How lame am I) I am totally swept up into the paranormal shows about ghosts and shit. Like Ghost Hunters, and Paranormal State. That Mike guy is kinda cute. It depends on my mood. So my taste in TV shows is BEYOND random. Also, I will be the first to admitt, I am a huge reality TV fan! Thanks to my mother, I have become addicted to reality TV..even though it is getting out of hand. It is human nature to love watching other peoples business. lol So yes, my mother and myself have bonding time, so that we can watch Idol and Americas Next Top Model, and Project Runway(..and one of you VIL BE OUT!!) LOL!
We can't miss it! But..there are things I don't like. Unlike MOST gay boys..I have never seen a full episdode of Sex and the City - and I feel NO need to tell people which character I am most like, and I accept the fact that it is NOTHING like real life. Thanks..but no thanks. On top of that. Desperate Housewives or Brothers and Sisters, or whatever it is called. I don't need to watch a show JUST because it has gay characters in it. Also...Reading Rainbow...and Fraggle Rock!! *winks* WHOO HOO!

Books:

My favorite book is Density of Souls. If you haven't read it..you should. I am not by any means saying that it is the greatest book ever written..but it really touched me. There were things in that book that really got to me..really hit that..spot. If you want to know why..just ask. But I am not going to sit here and say that my favorite books are "To Kill a Mockingbird" or "Where the Red Fern Grows"...its old..played out. Those are all books that we read in high school. People need to expand their minds and go find different books. Books that aren't a New York times best seller..books that aren't on Operah's book club. Go dig! Scan the shelves of Barnes & Noble! Expand your mind! I love reading books that are off the beaten path. Also, you all must read "Front Runner" by Patricia Nell Warren. I am fortunate enough to know the author. She is a wonderful lady, and it is truely a touching book. I can not recommend another book other than this one, that people should make the time to look into. It is a book that defyed it's time..so I defy you to read it. If you all have any good books that you think I should read, let me know! Also...the Harry Potter books! AHHHHHHHHH! Lets not even get started on those. I am just a big kid at heart. I won't lie..I have joined the craze...and I love them!! I told myself I would never read them, but I picked up one, and I couldn't read them fast enough. They are just addicting. I wanna be a wizard! And for those of you that know me, I am the biggest Harry Potter fan ever. *winks*

Heroes:

My hero is.....MIGHTY MOUSE!!! WHOO HOO!! Ok...not really, I would have to say..my hero is my mother. *gag* I know I know...how cliche. But she really is. She has been there for me through everything...She is just wonderful. She has supported me in all my choices in life(not always with approval) and been there every step of the way. I can not think of anyone who has been a bigger hero to me then my mom. She is my mother, my best friend, and my shoulder to lean on. I would be lost without her. I also have a large group of people who I think could be heros to me. Anyone who does what their heart tells them, anyone who follows their dreams, anyone who stands up to adversity and stands up for what they believe in, anyone who lives their life to the fullest...those are all heros to me. Those are the people that I look up to, and want in my life. If you are one of those people...show me what ya got. I challange you.
