What horrible Edward Gorey Death will you die?
You will be sucked dry by a leech. I'd stay away from swimming holes, and stick to good old cement. Even if it does hurt like hell when your toe scrapes the bottom.

You scored as Calamity Jane. You aren't like the other girls, and that's fine by you. Ain't no cocksucker going to get you in a dress and play those fancy ways. You are a loyal friend and one of the few decent people in this town. You don't care what people think of you or the company you keep. (Calamity Jane is played by Robin Weigert)

My Interests

Food, people, travel, outdoors, work (is work an interest?).

I'd like to meet:

Challenging people...Is anyone else worth your time?

Music:

yes, of course, just keep track of my plays for my various interests.

Movies:

And I don't remember, but if I haven't, I fully recommend "Once".

Television:

I've started watching like 20 series: Project Runway (2) love it. Freaks and Geeks, almost done, really funny. Deadwood (3) is GREAT, amazing language, characters, but I just finished it, I think I may have to start over! The Sopranos (1), just started and I like it. I am watching "The Jewel in the Crown", wonderful BBC miniseries from the 70's about the British presence in India in the 40's. EXCELLENT.

Books:

I am reading "The Kiterunner", but of course lost it on the plane, right when I was starting to like it. I went to two libraries to get it, but it is checked out. I special ordered it, and I am 22nd on the list. In the meantime, I am reading Cannery Row by Steinbeck, and it is awesome.

Heroes:

I would like to direct everyone to my cousin, Kelly, who as extended the invitation to be my "friend". How cool is she?

Musings brought on by my trip to Louisiana

I had such a good time at Jazz Fest and Festival Internationale, I almost considered thinking about living in Louisiana again. It is so easy to be manipulated by the spring weather, food, drink, musi...
