Abrasive is a 21 year old producer/engineer/rapper hailing from Birmingham, West Midlands, and is currently splitting his time between Birmingham, Leicester and London.
Starting out at the age of fifteen working primarily with hiphop, Abrasive has now matured into a producer/engineer and has a number of credits to his name, collaborating with artists on various projects, covering a range of genres from drum & bass, hiphop and r&b.
Such projects include engineering Dirty Sweet & Dap-C's 2008 LP 'Street Karma' which features guest appearances from Blak Twang, Skinnyman, Sir Smurf Lil' and many more big names from the UK hiphop scene. In addition to this, Abrasive also mixed a record for Dap-C featuring none other than US hiphop legend Kool G Rap and upcoming G-Unit affiliate Nyce Da Future.
Also, production work has been completed for artists including Double E, Original Jenetics, Dap-C, Geejay, JSB and more.
