About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 I could easily win a popularity contest right now... at least that is what my horoscope says...
It also says that love is not an operatic drama replete with exultant highs and abysmal lows. It's a breeze. Close, ongoing relationships have an effortless buroyancy. New relationships happen without the slightest strain.
That said- I am presently on myspace. Go figure.
Sure I could win a popularity contest, but I care more about the fact that I maintain relationships over 10, 20, 30 years. I am seeing my oldest, dearest friend (our parents lived across the street from each other since we were 3) get married. And she was not the marrying type. And I am thrilled for her happiness. At times I thought I am not the marrying type. But then I look at my history- of really long relationships and I truly value the friendship, loyalty, support, love, and learning experiences I have gotten out of all of them. So why not.
I love to travel. I'd like to live in different and exciting places; Rome, some tiny remote island, but I also want a home where friends stop by unannounced, where it's safe for kids to grow up, my dog to run around, where I feel safe.
