About Me
Born in Nyon, near Lausanne, Switzerland, I designed a toy airplane at age twelve and patented it. I attended the cole polytechnique f'drale de Lausanne. After graduation I worked in the machine shop of an engineering company. In my spare time I am an amateur mountaineer, and while I enjoy the outdoors, burrs often get stuck to my wool hunting pants and my dog's fur. Microscopic inspection of the burrs provided inspiration for the invention of a new fastener.
