About Me

Hmm...work and school was the story of my life forever. But I just graduated from nursing school at Saddleback College in May '08, and I now work at Hoag Hospital as an RN. So school is definitely on hold for awhile so I can enjoy just working. Anyway, I love to laugh and smile so if you can make me do either of the two, which honestly isn't that difficult, you're good in my book. I'm pretty outspoken and am not afraid to stand up for what I believe in, which I'm pretty sure I learned from my sister. I don't like authority and being told how to live my life. I don't like liars and cheaters and I'll be the first to call you out on it, rather than talk behind your back, again a lesson from the sis. But I am also very forgiving and understanding and sometimes give people too many chances. So I try to surround myself with people that I trust and love. My friends mean the world to me, and I would do absolutely anything for them. I live my life according to two principles: 1. What goes around comes around, so treat people the way you want to be treated. This is a BIG one for me, because I totally believe in karma, so it reflects the way I treat people. I am nice to anyone and everyone until I am given a really good reason not to. 2. Carpe Diem, which is Latin for seize the day. We're only here once, and tomorrow is not promised so today is all we have. I've recently learned that the hard way, even though I thought I always understood it and lived by it, I never really did until losing my big sister. I never go to bed with an argument unsettled or walk out the door without saying "I love you" to my parents. I am trying to do things now so that I don't have regrets later.
