Born in the North and raised in the South I grew up surrounded by music, thanks to my dad, who was a country guitarist himself. Though I never wanted to admit it while I was younger, it was through his love of music that I became aware of the power of a well crafted and well played song. I still remember late nights on the lake as a skinny lil kid, playing GI Joe with some of the neighbor kids while several of the dads would have impromptu jam sessions in the den, playing a bit of everything and nothing at the same time. Those memories stayed with me, even through the different rock, metal, grunge and alternative phases that I was destined to go through, rebelling with adolescence. I have played in many different bands/acts and fell in and out of several different genres, finding my voice along the way and melding it into my own unique sound.Over the years I've played a wide variety of venues, ranging from biker bars, restaurants, coffeehouses, festivals and art exhibit openings to a party at the Olympic Rowing Venue during the '96 Olympics.
This past summer I've been brought on board at Six Flags and have enjoyed playing to new crowds at every turn.
I've also won a few singer/songwriter competitions at Eddie's Attic in Decatur - the place that helped launch the careers of the Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins, John Mayer and Sugarland, to name a few.
