Quote from Eurosonic 2003:
What kind of music do Noint? make? Is it Britpop? Is it stonerrock? Is it hardcore? Why do Noint? confuse the people whose job it is to use these categories so? Why are those journalists, reviewers and bookers so impressed by what Noint? can do? Why do the band resist being labelled so succesfully? Is it the extreme variety of the members' backgrounds? Is it the music scene in Groningen, that oozes not only the eternal smell of the sugar beet but so much inspiration as well? Or is it their motto? PLAY !!
Noint? was founded in 1990 by Paul Beijert (drums) and Marius Heiner (guitar). In 1994 Wim Joosten (bass) and in 1995 Wilfred van de Worp (vocals) joined the band. A hugh production of songs was accomplished, initially rather differently because of the various backgrounds of the members. Still, the typical Noint?-style came into existence: an energetic rhythmsection, powerfull muffled guitarchords and a voice with lasting reminiscence. In short: solid rock.

At the end of september 2003 our longawaited videoclip was released. In cooperation with Rob Bruijgoms from BUSHOK rockvideos the song Flying from the album 'From the womb (live)' was filmed in sedately black and white. Copies of the clip were sent to The Box and MTV's Rockzone, but both refused to spend airtime, due to "... the violent contents ...". Only VPRO's 3VOOR12 is showing the video on their WebTV and on digital television.
If you'd like to sing along with us, watch this karaoke-video from the song Vecchione tranquillione from the album 'Vecchi tranquillo' (2008).
An excerpt of the song Full stop (Punto final), recorded live at the festival 'A Campingflight to Gideon 2008' (Groningen) by Paul Schwarte of Schwarte Producties .
