Basically I'm complicated/have a hard time taking the easy way

About Me

The higher the monkey climbs the tree, the more you can see its arse.

My Interests

Shiny things, the printed word, train travel and the possibility of an infinite number of parallel existences

I'd like to meet:

Daniel Craig

Ppl who make me laugh till liquid spurts from my nostrils

Who I'd NOT like to meet
- people who publish their own poetry online
- 18 y.o. members of bad metal bands trying to promote their music
- those looking simply to increase their friend count
- the ungrammatical and/or poor spellers
- married or otherwise attached men who want to while away a dull day at the office flirting online. I will find out where you live and tell your wife. Don't waste my time and put your children in mortal danger. Especially if you have ugly children.
-ex boyfriends on the eighth step

If you can search your heart and honestly say you don't fall into one of the above categories, then fine, go ahead and contact me. But be warned now that I can be incredibly dangerous when irked. I will find you. I will make you wish you had never heard of a thing called MySpace.

Music:

iPod random shuffle rules. My various pasts as an indie kid, rave bunny, b-girl and New Romantic all on one HD (Duran Duran to Stereophonics via Franz Ferdinand, Stones, Sisters of Mercy, Public Enemy, Motown, Hybrid, Pat Benetar, Arctic Monkeys, B-52s, The Strokes, Louis Jourdan, Elvises Costello & Presley, Macy Gray, Ian Brown, Ella Fitzgerald) - don't even attempt to categorise me. Yup, I'm musically fickle - so sue me.

Movies:

Comedies should be either very dark or very silly: Heathers, Shaolin Soccer. Love stories should make you cry: Cinema Paradiso, Brief Encounter. Horror films should be subtle, with a sense of theatre; Rosemary's Baby, Silence of the Lambs. Action Films should kick major ass; Aliens, Empire Strikes Back, Crouching Tiger..., Casino Royale And for sheer all round entertainment value, you can't beat Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Television:

Brit comedy that involves men dressing up as women; League of Gentlemen, Little Britain, anything by Peter Kay. Animation; South Park & Monkey Dust. And CSI.

Books:

Mmmm this is a tough one... the complete works of Dickens, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Northern Lights, No 1 Ladies Detective Agency, Carter Beats the Devil, Life of Pi, A Confederacy of Dunces, Don Quixote, Wuthering Heights, Orlando, American Tabloid, Foucault's Pendulum and Sons & Lovers. For starters

Heroes:

Spiderman, Shakespeare, James Dean, Constance Kent, Anna Karenina, the Baudelaire siblings and Morrissey

"I can smell your scent"

Huh?Slumped in front of the TV watching SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, looking forward to reliving all my 1991 "I want to join the FBI" fantasies (cruelly dashed when I discovered they didn't take foreigners)...
