It's funny, I like everything from UGK to Beethoven from Screw to Rock. My favs are: Floetry, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Indie Arie, John Legend, Maxwell, Kanye West, The Roots, Common...all things NeoSoul... As well as old school: Maze & Frankie Beverly, Al Green, Earth, Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross, Prince, The Gap Band, DeBarge...pretty much everything!
I'm not really a movie person, but if it is silly as hell and doesn't have a lick of serious content, I pretty much love it, i.e. The Anchorman, Talledega Nights, Dodge Ball, The Forty Year Old Virgin, Don't Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Half Baked, just to name a few.Other movies I enjoy are: The Color Purple, Five Heartbeats, Lean on Me, Saw I & II, The Temptations and Purple Rain...and our course Porn!

I haven't really read anything for pleasure in a while, but here are a few of my fav authors/books:Zane (The Sex Chronicles, gets me through dry spells), Terry McMillan (Mama & A Day Late and a Dollar Short are 2 of the best books I've ever read), Sister Souljah (The Coldest Winter Ever, if you haven't read this book, your are living under a rock!) Omar Tyree (Fly Girl, the ultimate come of age book), Erica Kennedy (Bling...so good!), Bebe Campbell Moore (Such an excellent author), E. Lynn Harris (Everything this man writes is excellent!) Eric Jerome Dickey...just to name a few...Call me a geek but I also love classic American literature/poetry: W.E.B. Dubois, Maya Angelou, Phyllis Wheatley, Langston Hughes, Nikki Giovanni...
Strong Black Women, but above all, my mom, who I lost in 2004. Never have I witnessed such strength and perseverance in a person. She was a testimony to love, strength, wisdom, courage and endurance. I hope that I can be as great as she was.
