I am a 28 year old married mother of a 6month old baby girl. I grew up in Alexandria, LA and moved to Baton Rouge, LA to pursue my undergraduate degree. After graduating I stayed in BR and eventually met my husband there. After the premature birth of my daughter we decided to move home to be closer to family and to allow my husband to pursue a new career path. I am currently a work at home mom with my Mary Kay business. Before having my daughter I was a Care Coordinator/Case Manager for HIV & AIDS patients. I loved my job and believe it was one of my lifes greatest works. I hope to come back to that arena at some point. I am a Christian and love the Lord. I love to sing and love praise and worship and enjoy working in the ministries of the church. I am also a member of the oldest black sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I was made during the Spring of 1999 at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. I am not currently active with any chapter but look forward to doing so in the very near future. In the Fall of 2002 I decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Public Administration. After getting married I decided to sit out for one year to adjust to married life. Oops I got pregnant and have not returned yet. I have 19 hours left, so it is most definitely on the top of my list of things to do.
