No stranger to creativity, Trajedi is always using his skills to express himself in a unique way. Trajedi started off writing and rapping to down loadable beats from the internet until he decided to start making beats himself to control all aspects of his creativity. "No one knows what sound I'm looking for but me" stated the Dallas, Tx native so his quest to being the best began.
Trajedi (Philip Mendoza) was born in Arkansas but after a few months, his parents moved to Dallas, Tx where Trajedi has been calling home every since. Trajedi was always into the arts. A young boy with big dreams of being an artist constantly trying to perfect his artistic skills by drawing and sketching realistic photos and portraits. The love of drawing slowly faded but his dream never died. Trajedi found his love of music at the age of 16. Wanting to be the one free styling at the lunch tables, Trajedi went home and practice free styling. While standing in the mirror free styling, he figured that it may sound better if he wrote some rhymes down. writing became addictive to Trajedi. Every chance he get he would jot down new lines. Trajedi wanted to move to the next step and record some of his lyrics but being a high school student with no job, there was no funds for studio time. So Trajedi did some research on home studios and in 2002 he began building the foundation of a basic in home studio. Trajedi spent most of his time on the computer learning new software and how things worked and in no time Trajedi was set up to record his first track. Although the studio wasn't perfect, he gave it a run down. Comparing his mixes to major artist's cds and trying to match it the best way he could and seeing that he was very close, Trajedi made it official that his first studio was born. Trajedi kept studying tutorials and learning all he knows now on his own. Along the way of perfecting a good studio mix, Trajedi grew interested in making beats so he figured that if he could teach his self how mix then he could teach his self how to make beats. A determined individual, Trajedi never gave up and is now in the league of other top notch producers and rappers.
In 2003, Trajedi teamed up with child hood friend, Ayo and formed Candy Houze Records. Candy Houze records was a metaphoric image of they were. They were 2 different flavors and both with in home studios. Shortly after producer/rapper Lonestar was the 3rd founder of Candy Houze Records. Dropping a few mixtapes, Candy Houze was getting a buzz and people wanted to be part of Candy Houze. Candy Houze Teamed up with Tone Struck Records of California and is making a big impact in the music game. With a single floating in the air waves and an album debuting soon , Candy Houze is on its way to becoming the next best independent label around.
Trajedi's Album "Something Serious" is coming soon. An album that will be self produced by him. with a limited of features Trajedi's goal with the album is to bring some creativity back into the rap and music world. With Tracks that everyone can relate to, this album is sure to be one you can listen to 10 years from now and feel the way you felt the first time you heard.
