About Me

NEW 7" EP CURRENTLY BEING RECORDED ON TAPE / COMPUTER - BRING MIXED BY OLIVER MACKAY! [T/A + RA + MORE]Biography
Tales of fractured relationships entwined in ukulele, junkyard percussion (fly swats on suitcases, newspaper on dustbins, plastic bags and cat bells) and Casio keyboards with boy/girl vocals. Raw, refreshing and blatantly honest, it is pleasant junk-freak-folk music for a confused world.Ambitious Lovers have released two EPs and a CDr full length on WarrenStreetYouth Records . We've had the good fortune to perform with Calvin Johnson [USA], Low [USA], Marissa Nadler [USA], Novi Split [USA], Woelv [USA], Holly Throsby [Sydney], Grey Daturas [Melbourne], Kes [Melbourne], Laura Jean [Melbourne], Ned Collette [Melbourne] ... and a few others.Live Reviews
