I love cooking, spending time with friends and family, humor(in any form!), political incorrectness, taking LONG walks, watching obscure movies, reading People magazine(loves the crossword!), reading actual books, shopping(keep me away from Barney's and Sephora...that spells trouble!), going to thrift stores, singing karoake, and, once again, spending time with friends and family. My music interest varies from electronic to pop to rock to r&b to folk to rap. Can't embrace the country music scene though. Tried, but failed! Some of my faves are Goldfrapp, Scissor Sisters, Roisin Murphy, Jamiroquai, Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson, Everything But The Girl, Basement Jaxx, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Rihanna, Outkast, Kelis, Jay-Z, Portishead, Fiona Apple, Sarah McLachlan, Coldplay, and Jack Johnson. Also into 50's and 60's lounge music like Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, Sinatra, Bennett, Nat King Cole, etc. I'm all over the place!
My faves are Drop Dead Gorgeous, The House of Yes, Donnie Darko, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Garden State, In Her Shoes, Mulholland Dr, The Virgin Suicides, The Last Supper, Clue, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Heathers(Classic!), Rosemary's Baby, Carrie, The Omen, The Chalk Garden, Charade, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and anything Alfred Hitchcock. Classic films are the best! They are my favorite! .. width="425" height="350" ....
Don't watch a lot of TV but I loveBrothers & Sisters, 24, Gilmore Girls, X-Files, Simpsons, Nip/Tuck, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, and Ellen. Without cable right now(first time in like 20 years) but I also liked watching Sopranos, Weeds, Blow Out, My Life On The D List, and Project Runway. The Comeback was one of the best worst shows ever! Oh yeah...and my FAVORITE, FAVORITE show EVER is Strangers With Candy!!! Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello rock! If you haven't seen this show, check it out.
Mainly I read a lot of Dean Koontz, some true crime, and biographies. I've kinda gotten in a Koontz rut lately tho and need to expand my reading choices. Love suggestions from anyone that has a fave book. Just recently started reading a new book by Amy Sedaris called " I Like You: Hospitality Under The Influence." I love it! It's hilarious and has great ideas in it, as well...it will make you a huge success at your next party! Especially if it's a party for someone fresh out of rehab or prison.
My mom, for putting up with me. My aunt, for battling cancer and winning!
