Buy This CD: A Great live CD with a wonderful companion DVD.
This is a companion to the
DVD of the same title, and both are great. The only difference is one
gives you a visual display of Satch live, while the other represents the
audio side (duh)! The track listing on the CD actually begins with
Redshift Riders, though it is listed as "Flying In A Blue Dream", the
song order seems to have been switched for the CD and not corrected on the
label. Other than that the songs listed on the back are correct and are
the same as the DVD. I have listed the DVD order below.
Clearly an artist worth hearing, and it would be cool to see him live and in person, but a Utah tour date seems to be an impossible dream.

VH1 CLASSIC METAL MANIA STRIPPED

Buy This CD: A Pretty good CD for 80s metal fans, but some songs
work better than others.
The third installment in the Metal Mania stripped series includes a few surprises, songs that I would never think of hearing done acoustically. Among those is an inclusion of German metalers Accept (complete with Udo on vocals) performing their anti-slavery/oppression song "Balls To The Wall". Though I found it an odd fit at first, I began liking this new version after a few runs through the CD. Autograph's acoustic version of "Turn Up The Radio" is another strange addition to the list, though this one felt instantly accessible despite the lack of volume control when done acoustically. But one odd contortion that I didn't really care for was the acoustic version of "Slaughter Up All Night", it just sounds bad. Though the original version, and the band plugged in concert are great.
Running through the paces of the CD this is what you get. Poison performing "Unskinny Bop" from the MTV unplugged series, a new recording (first time on CD) of Damn Yankees "High Enough" (one where I never cared much for the original and I don't really hold much sentiment for the new version). A newer version of Tesla performing "Signs" (this version has received airplay on the radio near me numerous times. A new, and very soft version of Winger with "Heading For A Heartbreak", a chance to revisit Dokken with "In My Dreams originally from "One Live Night". Next is the Firehouse recording of "When I Look Into Your Eyes" from Good Acoustics, which is actually a fairly old, recording now, as the CD first surfaced in 1996. Ratt's version of "Way Cool Jr." is also from the MTV Unplugged series, and is different from the recording that appeared on Stephan Pearcy's Stripped CD a year back. Closing the CD you get Jani Lane performing Warrant's "Heaven" in fine form, Cinderella's "Nobody's Fool", Kix "Don't Close Your Eyes", Eric Martin of Mr. Big with "Just Take My Heart", and Queensryche's "Killing Words". All in all, the Metal Mania stripped series is always fun to some extent; you just have to pick and choose what you like once you get the CDs home.MY CHINESE ASTROLOGICAL SIGN: Horse
Some things about
this sign are true when related to me, while others seem to have been true
in the past, and maybe they will be once again?

FIRST WORD: Car
My favorite car is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. I've only seen one in real life at the Cache Valley Cruise in during 2005. Around 2,000 of these cars were made, and they are Nascar/winged versions of the 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner.
Other favorite cars include the '69 Dodge Daytona (a winged version of the '69 Dodge Charger, and the one that started the winged trend). The '69 Dodge Super Bee, '70 and '71 Dodge Challengers, along with '70/'71 Plymouth Cuda's. Convertible versions of the Hemi Cuda have sold for over 2 million dollars! If anyone would buy me any of the above listed cars, I'd be glad to receive! :)
FAMILY: Two sisters, one two years older in Vegas, and one 2 and 1/2 years younger (Utah). One nephew (for now) who will be three in the spring of next year.

I'm not sure why an extra solo was added for the video, which can heard in the first verse after "Better Change Your Tune". This solo was not on the 5150 CD. There was also a live video for this song.BAND LINKS
