In grew up in a vet clinic, both parents are Veterinarians. I have two gorgeous little girls.
My youngest daughter, Amelia, was born with a small deletion from chromosome 6 including the gene FOXC1 which resulted in anterior segment dysgenesis and glaucoma in both eyes at birth. Our hero Dr. Freedman implanted Ahmed valves in both eyes, allowing Amelia to have vision.
I have a BS degree in Biology from UNCW. Someday I will go to optometry school.
