Influences: !-Start Custom Code in Sounds Like-!: !-START code for custom text section-!: LowDeezie is a certified lyricist hailing out of the Highland Hills area( a well-known neighborhood in Oak Cliff, which is located on the southeast side of Dallas, TX ). He is one of the hardest spitting dudes in the Big D, due to his rugged delivery, clever wordplay, & his flamboyant street swagger.
Critics believe that the standard of the industry is currently watered down since the South has dominated the game. But the whole realistic vibe that Lowdeezie brings to the table rekindles the spirit of the old Southern Hip-Hop era that in the beginning didn't get mainstream exposure such as artists like Scarface, Big Mike, 8ball & MJG, Outkast, UGK, Mr. Mike, Fat Pat, & many more. Audio Crack Album Review 2006-2007 Finally, the time has come for LowDeezie to put his work in your grasps. His first debut album "Audio Crack"( which is to be released under his own independent imprint; P.M.G. Ent.) Displays a vivid conception of the way of life in Dallas. The topics and subject matter of the LP are much more creative than most and extreme style versatility is present also.
The album kicks off with the J heaven produced track "Make Sure My Mic Right" on which Highland Hills Slim spits heavy lyricism over the victorious and triumphant strings. Songs like the self-titled "Audio Crack"are automatic bangers. The Spliff Wayne produced track delivers a mesmerizing bass line as LowDeezie rides on the brass instruments and lead guitar with lyrics comparing his music to the addiction of crack. "The studio's The Kitchen and them junkies is ya fan base/ My lyrics is the soft white I'm whipping it like some mayonnaise/ The instrumental's the baking soda, I'm making yola/ & My mindset's the Pyrex, I'm steady shaking mo up/"
Another song that gets a lot of good response is "Product of the Ghetto". On the Zig-Zag produced track, LowDeezie speaks about the atmosphere of the hood. he painted a clear picture of the drugs, prostitution, gang activity, and murder that takes place in the black community. In no way did he glorify these things, Low just wants the world outside the hood to know what we go through on a daily basis.
Nevertheless, the whole album is fire, which consists of about 17 tracks with production by J Heaven from Wing City Productions, DJ Oreo, Spliff Wayne & B.I. From Fire Station Productions, & Zig- Zag from Track Addicts Productions. The album also features Mr. Lucci and Doughski from Crawl 2 Ball Records, T.K. From Lion's Den Records, Big Jig and Play Boi From M.O.M.M. Ent., Squeaky Macc for Game Lace Records (Free Squeak Macc), Dray G for P.M.G. Ent.
Be on the lookout for his next release "The Subject and The Predicate" in the Fall of 2007, with the lead singles "Fo Real" & "In Love With My City".
