What's up everybody! My name is Graham and I want to give much love to all the people reading this.I have had a passionate love for music since I was a zygote.My parents would put old Beatle's and The Police, not to mention Jimi Hendrix and I would run in circles. Pretty cool stuff for a 2yr old. I started playing guitar when I was 13 and it was a combination of Public Enemy and Metallica that started me on this journey. I have been in many bands that never worked out for some reason.The one that some of you might know is a local band called LUXT.When I was 16 I started playing shows in any and every metal band around.Then I discovered this guy named Ben Harper when I was 17.The moment I heard him I had a moment that only comes once in a lifetime.He was the voice that I had always wanted to hear, he wrote songs that I wanted to hear my whole life. The metal guy and his guitar got put away in my minds closet. I found the acoustic guitar and it spoke to me. Instead of how fast I could play it all became the G chord(which is still my favorite chord)It felt like me. Then I studied all of my favorite "mellow" songwriters and copied every song I could even close to play. When I finally started writing songs, it felt great. There was only one problem. I had to sing while playing. It took me awhile, but I was writing and singing(very poorly might I add) covers and my own stuff. Then came 2003. I got a really rare disease that put me out of commission for 2 years. During that time I was physically in a world of pain but mentally I had never been so clear. So I would sit outside, cry, and play my guitar.Then in the middle of all that hell I wrote what I consider my first real song. It was called "Peace Within". That song will always be my favorite song that I ever write. I put out a demo in 2006 and for how bad my voice sounded, I was very proud.Open mic's, shows,more shows, making friends.It has been all good. At the moment I am recording what will be an ACTUAL record. It will be on Itunes and available through me soon. I don't know how distribution will happen, but it will.
