"With rookie cards in his poetry collection like "Inside", "Black Statistic" and "Whats neXt", The future For Jason "DK" Wright looks mighty bright. As the glow of his personally shines from a dreary past...., he shows no loss of hope as becoming one of the best Poets. He began writing poems in the 3rd grade from the influence of his childhood and Highlights books.Later becoming a serious lyricist during his highschool life. Hardships in his life... applied the pressure needed to make his work "Objects of Desire".He is an 2004 NAACP Silver Medal Winner, received 1st Place Trophy for New York State Career Poem 2005 and other credited awards. DK depicts his life and morals through poetic stories. Intriging pieces about the urban communinty, credibility and politcal status of minorities.
