About Me

"I WAS ROBBED BY TWO MEN"
So, I hauled an organ up a flight of stairs last night, and between Whit and I, it was the most ridiculous time. Whit has let me borrow his organ indefinitely so that I may learn how to master the art of organ playing. I might mention, I am very serious about this. I will take lessons perhaps once or twice a week, and for each lesson, I will haul the organ (with Whit’s mighty assistance) to my balcony so that I may draw inspiration from the view of the local courthouse and pedestrians walking their dogs in tandem.
I have decided that for my first recital I will play something traditionally classical (because I will not be the one to break the tradition of attempting the work of a great classical composer and completely falling short), but I will find a way to smoothly transition into the piece I know every organ lover would really want to hear me play. That of course is the larger than life hit of 1966, “96 tears,” which was originally performed on a Farfisa and a Vox organ and may I add, originally titled “69 tears.”
Anywho, stay tuned for my recital date. It might sneak up on you earlier than you think…
