Bridget Perise

About Me

Singer/ Songwriter Bridget Perise has been performing since she was 7 and writing songs since she was 14. Her musical style is a fusion she calls "Jazzmatic" as it has roots in Afrobeat, Jazz and RnB. Hardly surprising as her influences range from Ella Fitzgerald, Sade, Stevie Wonder, Prince and Michael Jackson to Bon Jovi, The Beatles and Eva Cassidy. In summer 2005 Bridget provided vocals for the legendary Tony Allen band in 2 headlining festivals in Europe. Prior to this she had a starring role in an independent production of Jack the Ripper - the musical. Now, having taught herself to read music (slowly) and play the acoustic guitar, she is currently working on her debut album. The album, which contains songs in Bridget Perises quirky, edgy yet heartfelt style, comment on everyday life and the world as she sees. It will be released soon so watch this space!
