About Me
OK so I thought I should update this a little since I haven't been sleeping for the last few years.
Nope I've been living next to and working at The Amrit Yoga Institute in Salt Springs Florida. It's the ashram of Yogi Amrit Desai, my teacher. I'm a level 2 certified yoga teacher and I assist in the training of other yoga teachers as well as teach a little yoga on the side.
For a little music fix I do some chanting and am slowly learning Indian drumming, tanpura, cymbals, harmonium, chanting and music in general.
And, yeah, yeah, I'm the Bass player for Neutral Nation (my second set of brothers), past singer for Herbal Nation, chief engineer of Millrat Recording Studio in Providence, RI where I got to record a ton of great bands. I was the Technical Director for Trinity Repertory Co., also in Providence and like another family. My wife Jen and I lived in or around Attleboro, MA/Providence, RI since December of '83. I worked with lots of bands and clubs in the Providence area starting with Rash of Stabbings and the Living Room on the first day I came to town, there I ran monitiors and/or house sound, did house sound at Rocket/Babyhead, house at Psychos Confetti's metal nights. I was a booking agent for Frank J. Russo for one bloody summer and then he retired. Got the nickname tbuck from the Boneyard gang. I think everyones name got played with but mine stuck. Although, the theater people just know me as Tom. They get a little confused when someone calls me tbuck. Love this town for all of that. The people in this place are awesome.
Prior to moving to RI, I studied and worked as an actor, technical director, theater tech, roadie, musician, carpenter, plumber, pharmacy runner, sound engineer, lighting engineer, truck driver (oh man this list would get too long). Born in Miami,FL I've lived in Long Island,NY, Houston,TX, Denver,CO, Syracuse,NY, NYC, Boulder,CO, Gilford,NH, Providence,RI, Attleboro and North Attleboro,MA and now Salt Springs,FL in the middle of the Ocala National Forest with Jen, 2 cats and a dog.peace
