I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Not much overly exciting here...I stay very busy with my work in the HVAC field. I take great pride in doing my job and I do it well. My company has earned many prestigous awards, most recently from the Better Business Bureau. We received there highly sought after 'Torch Award.' Additionally, I have had the honor of having several technical articles written by me published in several trades magazines over the last few years. When I am not working, I enjoy old jukeboxes, music memorabilia, old cars, and collecting other pieces of "Americana". My jukebox collection consists of nearly 30 machines from the 30's through the 50's. My music memorabilia consists of nearly a dozen signed guitars from such diverse artists as John Mellencamp, Paul McCartney, and George Jones. Other items of Americana I have been lucky enough to collect over the years: nearly 30,000 baseball cards featuring Ted Williams, Babe Ruth, and Honus Wagner; nearly 50,000 Vinyl Records; nickel and dime pop machines, slot machines, and pinball machines; various automotive/gas station items from the teens through the fifties. I will attempt to post various pictures as time permits for people that care about such things. You will usually find me trolling around in my 1917 Ford Touring car. While this is my favorite, you will also find me behind the wheel of my 1926 Ford truck or my 1925 Ford Coupe. There is something nostalgic about being behind the wheel of a car that has been on the road for over 90 years. These are not sports cars, nor are they fast cars...they are just neat cars. I consider myself very lucky to be able to take my turn at preserving these vehicles for the next generation.Ok...there you have it...all the highlights in just a few paragraphs!! I love meeting new people, sharing ideas, and learning new things...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

First of all I would like to meet someone that could get the people and leaders of the world to live in peace without innocent men and women dying.Secondly, I would like to meet various leaders of industry from American history: Henry Ford, Eli Whitney, etc...I may seem odd, but I find these people fascinating. They accomplished great things without calculators, computers, or automated machinery. They had their minds and imagination. We are sadly missing this today.
