Show Dem Camp (SDC) comprises of the megaversal Ghost and Tec, who are destined to leave their distinctive musical thumbprints on both the continental and international music scenes. Back in the centre of their universe, Lagos, following long stints honing their acute production skills in the UK and US. These caped hip-hop heroes have returned with the sole intention of projecting a positive musical message laced with raw yet intelligent beats. Blending Nigerian beats together with synchronized western influenced melodic styles.SDC have concocted a distinctive sound with an extra twist, a sound that makes perfect sense to the multi-cultural ear. Their latest singles “Yawa on the Dancefloor†and “Tell Me Nothing†are currently burning up airwaves throughout Lagos and Abuja. According to DJ Humility, “SDC are destined for great things as they are real and are doing it right…they are proudly Nigerian and their music is fresh with a lot of swagger.â€Now preparing their debut album "Memoirs" for release on their own record label (Show Dem Records) SDC have teamed up with artists as diverse as MOBO, MTV award winner Tuface Idibia and Nneka [for the project which is on schedule for a December 2009 release]. Testament to their prolific work ethic, they have also completed a collaborative album titled The Dreamers with a number of talented up and coming artists in the Nigerian music scene. Prominent artists like M.I and Sound Sultan have already contributed songs to the project, which they have described as a concept album projecting "a statement of empowerment to show people it is alright to dream and to chase those dreams without compromise."This is the whole premise behind the name of their movement “Show Demâ€
They are intent on showing Nigeria, Africa and eventually the world that something exceptional can arise from Nigeria a nation desperate to improve its tarnished image.
