About Me

I write songs that reflect the world the way it looks through my eyes, songs about all the true fairytales constantly unfolding around us.Currently I am living in Paris, after graduating from LIPA in July, where I recorded my EP 'Storyteller'. I also do vocal coaching and give private singing lessons. Please contact me for rates and more info! So, If you are around and would like to come and join me for some live music, contact me to become a member of my members exclusive group, or keep an eye on this site and I will be keeping you posted.

I hope you enjoy listening to my music! Just reminding you that the Dyveke & Cellar Door EP 'Storyteller' is out right now. Reserve your copy here in the comfort of you own home! flowers myspace layout

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Mostly I play on my own, but sometimes random and wonderful musicians join me in creating, performing or recording music. Amongst them are Alexander Snellingen Ormvold (bass), Jostein Austvik (drums), Helga Guren (violin and hardingfele) and Margrethe Gaulin (vocals).
Influences: Artists I admire are groups and people like Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Rufus Wainwright, Jen Gloeckner, Kate Bush, Madrugada, Seigmenn, Datarock (they are funny!), Tori Amos and anyone who feels they have something to say and who have the guts to say it like it is.
Sounds Like: Me. But please buy my EP 'Storyteller' (for only £4 small pounds) by clicking on the picture under, and decide for yourself!

Record Label: none, so far.
