My Interests

I'd like to meet:

This is my 4 and a half mins of fame when we got on music tv...aah the memoriesThis is a full on nostalgia fest for kids of the 80's

Music:

Pixies,Pearl Jam,Get Up Kids,Weezer,Saves the Day,Bruce Springsteen,R.E.M,Tori Amos, Smashing Pumpkins,Idlewild,Biffy Clyro,At The Drive-In, Mclusky,Deftones, Sparta,Brand New, Hot Rod Circuit, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Ben Kweller,Death Cab For Cutie, Postal Service, Faith No More, Head Automatica, Glassjaw, Hey Mercedes, Million Dead,Braid,Jimmy Eat World, The Shins, Mew,Motion City Soundtrack, No Motiv, Nada Surf,Promise Ring, Reuben, Rilo Kiley, Rocket from the Crypt, Sonic Youth, Sunny Day Real Estate. Not in any order of preference and im obviously partial to many other people but this lot mainly would piss out of me if you cut my music bladder open.

Movies:

Back To The Future (Trilogy although original is best), Indiana Jones (Trilogy although Temple of Doom is best), Star Wars (Original trilogy only people! New one sucks balls), Stand By Me,It's A Wonderful Life, Napoleon Dynamite, Swingers, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, From Dusk Til Dawn, Sin City,Lost In Translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,Grosse Point Blank, Dazed and Confused, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Evil Dead, The Goonies, Gremlins, Kevin Smith's New Jersey films, Lord of the Rings trilogy,Fargo and millions more that i really can't be bothered to list

Television:

Not very much really. I dont really watch anything when its on. Like comedy stuff like The Mighty Boosh,Alan Patridge, Darkplace, Family Guy, Scrubs, Ren and Stimpy. And old school stuff like Charlie Brown, Dangermouse and The Muppets...but doesn't everyone

Books:

Love reading but dont have that one favourite book really. Lord of the Rings for the geeky nerd part of me. I have read nearly all Clive Barker's stuff but cant stand Steven King. Favourite Barker books are probably Great and Secret Show and Weaveworld. The Dice Man by Luke Rhineheart was recently brought to my attention. It rules in a very mental freaked out kind of way.

Heroes:

Still Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, Charlie Brown and Kermit the frog. Maybe Napoleon Dynamite purely for his skills with a bo staff
