Gotta say I am not too unique here. I am open to just about anything. I love music, movies, sports, partying with the guys and the girls and everything else in between. HUGE football fan!!! And I know alot about the sport too, although the men in tight pants is always a plus. My biggest interest though is obviously my child. He is my heart and there is nothing I am more interested in than that.
I will meet them all one day....
I love anything from Patsy Cline to Jay-Z. I grew up in a household filled with music and was encouraged to explore it myself. I am also partial to classical, Itzhak Perlman to be exact (although I could be biased considering I played the violin for 10 years). I respect all music as an art form. Including people like Marilyn Manson. ALthough don't get it twisted, Jacob will not be listening to him while living under my roof.
"Sleepless in Seattle" has to be the all time favorite, which believe it or not is shocking because the last thing I am is into chick flicks.
"Will and Grace"...All things in life can be referred back to a will and grace episode. "Grey's Anatomy" "Nip/Tuck"
Robert Penn Warren's "All the King's Men"
I was lucky enough to have a mom that set a great example for me and always told me I could do and be anything I wanted to. And for some reason I tended to believe her! :) But my heroes are people who stood up for what they believed in and helped change and shape this world. People like Martin Luther King, Jr. A man who knew he would die leading a revolution that has changed this country forever. Some of us would not know the lives we know today had it not been for that man. I also love a man named Elie Weisel. Some of you may recognize the name, but he is a holocaust survivor and author who is constantly telling the stories of what happened in concentration camps in World War 2 so that as his generation dies off we don't forget what allowing hatred of a person due to their skin color, sexual orietation or religion will turn us into as a society. I also envy the people who everyday walk the streets and challenge the norm in order to live the lives they wish even if someone persecutes them for it.
