Sports: Atlanta Braves, Texas A&M, Chicago Bears, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Stars. Everything else: dishing out punishment on a regular basis, scamming chicks with Ben Ray and Tim Daigle (and Doug Charlton sometimes), I am also interested at being hot.
George Patton, Edward Murrow, ?uestlove,Dave Matthews BandDave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Steve Gadd (in order of appearance): These are the men at the peak of drumming ability in the world today. Impossible to rank (even with others), but always an inspiration to watch. If you like Faith Hill's new album Fireflies, that is Vinnie on the drums.:.. width="425" height="350" ..
When I tell you this, you will probably laugh and say, "sure...that's what everyone says," but I do in fact like or will like every shred of music that is found on the face of this earth (and off it). Music was initially created as another means to worship God (that's the god of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) in the first place. And though music has lost sight of that in the past hundred years, it doesn't mean that much can be learned from it (most Christian groups have secular influences). Here are some artists that I listen to fairly often. WARNING: This list is subject to grow to massive proportions. Jesus: I can honestly say that I would not be anywhere near where I am today if it weren't for Jesus Christ. That Jesus took the cup of God's wrath from me that I so richly deserved, and bore it on the cross is a very sobering thing. And the fact that he still tolerates my arrogance and forgives me is means for celebration throughout my whole life. As the late Dr. Carl Henry was quoted, "How can anyone be arrogant when he stands beside the cross?†My mother: A blessing. Don't know how she put up with me for 20 years. Has always been there.
