Causing a significant amount of noise in 2008 and being praised as old school thrash metal! The dogs of war return with 2009 debut Lp “A Decade of Violence†which some have already called a classic. The band began work on the album in the late fall of ’08 with producer Chris Gibson (Agnostic Front, CIV, Glassjaw….) at Upstart Studio Hoboken, NJ. This album is the follow-up to the 2008’s self titled Ep “APATHYâ€, the group’s most successful demo to date. On June 13th the band released “A Decade of Violence†online and inked a deal with HWP distribution in Arizona and now “A Decade of Violence†is set for a worldwide release!
Apathy is an American thrash metal band from Clifton, NJ formed in 2000. The band was founded by (guitar/ vocalist) Pete Wells later recruiting the line up of Bill Jameson on (drums), Billy Valverde on (bass) and Warren Conditi on (lead guitar). The bands lyrics and album art , which cover topics such as warfare, self loathing and violent behavior is the recipe in which Apathy is stirring, after all isn’t that the one thing we all have in common “apathyâ€.
