DiShaundra was born and raised in Ohio. She has a passion for music and would love to minister through music and do the work she has been called out to do. It doesn't matter if it's her own she is working on or just helping others with their music. DiShaundra has been influenced by gospel music. DiShaundra is inspired by the music of Shirley Caesar, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Kahn, Patti Labelle, Dottie Peoples, The Clark Sisters, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey, Tweet , Missy Elliott, Faith Evans and KeKe Wyatt. She grew up listening to a variety of Gospel and R&B music that her mother played. DiShaundra has sung in church and school choirs and performed at different places. She was an African dancer for the Tony West and the Imani dancer in her earlier years and also has had her own dance group which performed in the Annual Hip Hop Expo given by Brian a.k.a. BHB. Also created a dance group for her younger sister in which she helps them to get routines together. DiShaundra has performed in many shows for both the dance group and her own dance group that she had in the past. She also has other talents in doing hair. Which she is a licensed cosmetologist. DiShaundra is ready to further career and now ready for the world to know the talent that the Lord has provided her with, she would like to share it with the world. Her purpose and mission is to minister through music or to just simply to help others live their dream. She enjoys singing and music. She would love to lead sing or be a soloist long term, but doesnt mind singing back up, a hook for a song or working with others on collaborations. DiShaundra is a fun person to be around and to work with, she has a funny sense of humor she will pick you up when youre down but she also knows how to get the job done. She also has an 8 year old daughter that is known as her mini me and she likes to keep her family close, she shares a strong relationship with her mother, sister, daughter and niece. Currently attending DeVry University with a major in Human Resource Management.
