Influences: Allegedly the riff in 'Sandra no disrespect' was inspired by the Lacrymosa of Benjamin Britten's 'War Requiem'. Judge for yourself, there's certainly some likeness there but we don't think Les' favourite classical composer would ever have used words like 'an arse the size of Dagenham'.

Les would like to point out that the lyrics in 'Summer of Hate' and 'Your black heart' in no way relate to any ex-girlfriend, alive or dead. And if the bitch makes any more allegations he'll write another song about her. Even if she is a big Hollywod actress now.
Sounds Like: Take one cupful of Love, stir in a liberal pinch of The B52s and saute in a quart of Jefferson Airplane for 2 hours until Sweet and Tender.

Transfer to a large casserole dish and add two pints of The Kinks , half a pound of Jam and boil furiously until all the juice has evaporated, allow a Magic Number of minutes. Add a teaspooonful of XTC and stir rapidly to avoid lumps.

Serve while hot, accompanied by lukewarm lager and a packet of dry roast peanuts. Serves 4.
